This document provides a suggested long-term plan for each KS2 year group, ensuring a clear pathway for pupil learning. Progression is broken down into the following strands:

• Phonics – becoming familiar with key Spanish phonemes, spelling and pronunciation.
• Vocabulary – introducing commonly-used words; memorising high-frequency keywords.
