Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could use thicker pens when drawing lines; could ask a friend to hold objects for them when drawing around them; can reduce or limit the number of lines and circles drawn, circles to stick on and shapes to colour. 

Pupils working at greater depth

Can try to cut and tear their own strips of paper for the background; should be encouraged to produce more complex compositions using overlapping.
