Differentiation
Children who are less able: Remind less confident drawers that cartoon characters are simple and there is no ‘right’ way to draw them.
Children who are more able: Could suggest how the scene plays out – what should each character do to make the scene happier?
More confident drawers will add details to their cartoon characters to personalise them and make them recognisable (e.g. Mum’s long hair).
