Differentiation
Pupils needing extra support: May need help to mix four distinct colours. Some pupils may also find it hard to paint accurately and neatly to edges using this technique. One tip is to use masking tape to mask off the edges then peel it off after the painting is complete.
Pupils working at greater depth: May work quickly and efficiently to completion and so might extend the painting to fill the background or paint more objects in this style.
