Should give them a choice between a limited number of sounds or ideas to describe the new planet, helping to focus their imagination without overwhelming them.

Pupils working at greater depth:

Should think more deeply about the science behind their creative choices, such as the lack of sound in the vacuum of space and how sounds might be differently perceived on another planet; could create a more detailed narrative for their part of the soundscape, perhaps including the reason for the journey to the new planet or the discovery of a new element.
