Pupils needing extra support

Could identify keywords in spoken sentences; practise short phrases such as, c’est une cuisine – it’s a kitchen, focusing on accurate pronunciation and recall of vocabulary for rooms in a house; could use the knowledge organiser to check spelling and meaning.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could say and write the names of rooms in a house by making accurate sound-spelling links during the Find and name the rooms activity.
