Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Should work in small groups with the teacher and have a word bank handy when playing the game to be able to select the correct P.E verb. The teacher should ensure they pronounce each verb accurately, encouraging them to look for cognates.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should be challenged to include all components of the game accurately. They may also be able to say the correct infinitive followed by the “je” form of the verb, for example, sauter , je saute – I jump.
