Should practise the answers to just three questions initially, with support from the teacher who can act as the journalist, for example, what sport they do, why they like it and what medal they want to win.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could share their interview with the class once they have completed it, to further increase their confidence and also allow other pupils to peer-assess their work, identifying correct phrases and pronunciation.
