Pupils needing extra support:
Should have a partner clap along to their pattern, gradually increasing the speed of their clap so they can match their music to it; could do a group practice before the independent work.
Pupils working at greater depth:
Should be grouped and challenged to slow down gradually (rallentando) after they have got up to their top speed; could think about how different tempos can change the mood or character of their superhero.
