Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could gain confidence with shorter passes before moving on to try longer passes; could play Rondo with no defenders and could be allowed to pass to the person next to them; could play in a larger playing area in the game Goals galore; could play with larger goals or fewer players on each team (2v2).

Pupils working at greater depth

Should play Rondo with one or more defenders and should not be allowed to pass to someone directly next to them; could play in a smaller playing area and with smaller goals in the game Goals galore.
