Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could use gestures to represent whether they agree or disagree with the statements (e.g. raising their hand or giving a thumbs-up for ‘yes’ and lowering their hand or giving a thumbs-down for ‘no’); could use a recording device to record any questions they have (see Wrapping up).
Pupils working at greater depth
Could, in the Main event, create their own statements to discuss, ensuring that some have proof and others do not and write these on sticky notes; could explain how some of the statements might only be true sometimes.
