Recap and recall

Arrange the children into pairs and distribute whiteboards and pens (one each). Display the Presentation: Pictionary, showing an image of the Knowledge organiser, and ask the children to take turns drawing a picture that represents learning from the unit. Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could include a label or sentence for their illustration and record their ideas using an audio device for the Activity: My dream job or use the Activity: My dream job (support version); could provide sentence starters to help the children write a simple caption.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should write a paragraph about their dream job, including what the job involves, why they want to do it and what skills or qualifications they might need; could model their answer based on one of the jobs on the presentation; could conduct further research about their job.
