Before starting this lesson, use the following task to help the children recall key knowledge from Year 1 – Animals, including humans. Display slide 1 of the Presentation: What’s for dinner? and select volunteers to drag each food item to the correct plate (lion – zebra; cow – grass; human – chicken salad wrap).
