Should use Knowledge organiser to provide vocabulary support throughout the lesson; should underline all the cognates on the birthday invitation in one colour (invito – I invite, mi – my, responder – to reply) and any familiar words in another colour (años – years, fiesta – party, cumpleaños – birthday, cuándo – when) to help them to deduce meaning.
