Pupils needing extra support
Should use the Knowledge organiser throughout the lesson; should say dates without including es – is, during the Main event; could refrain from asking the question ¿Cuál es la fecha? – What is the date? during the Main event.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should respond to the question in the Recap and recall using a full sentence such as: Sí, es diciembre – Yes, it is December. Or No es diciembre – It is not December; should say the date on each square they pass through during the board game in the Main event.
