Should use the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Spanish – Portraits throughout the lesson for vocabulary support; should note down the key features of the individuals described by their partners on their whiteboards to enhance their recall during the Main event activity and the Wrapping up; could use the Resource: Family tree during the Main event and Wrapping up section.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should describe people with the widest array of features (i.e. those who have glasses, beard or moustache) during the Main event; should describe hair using three adjectives each time (colour, length and type) during the Main event.
