Display slide 1 of the Presentation: Facial features recap.  In pairs, invite the children to identify the name of each facial featurein Spanish. Remind the children of the agreed gestures from the previous lesson.

Pupils needing support

Should use the Knowledge organiser throughout the whole lesson; should use the Activity: Describing plural nouns: support version during the Attention grabber and the Main event, which requires them to connect each label to the correct part of the face.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should enhance their initial description by including additional features; should apply their knowledge of adjectival agreement to generate the correct form of each adjective that describes the additional feature, e.g. tres dientes negros – three black teeth, or seis pecas marrones – six brown freckles.
