Pupils needing extra support

Could use the Activity: Question and answer match (support), which includes cards for physically matching the questions and answers during the ‘Question and answer match’ activity in the Main event; could be encouraged to notice and highlight masculine ‘o’ and feminine ‘a’ endings in different colours on the Activity: Sentence and picture match.

Pupils working at greater depth:

Could adapt the ‘Question and answer match’ activity to have a conversation with a partner about themselves; could make up and describe aloud imaginary families with different numbers of siblings for their partner to listen and write down or draw.
