Display the Presentation: Sentence scramble. Invite the children to organise the words into a sentence and see if they can translate it into English (No quiero limpiar porque es muy aburrido – I don’t want to clean because it’s very boring).

Could use the Resource: Jobs flash cards and Resource: Knowledge Organiser: Spanish – Household tasks for visual support; could focus on and compare the first sentence of each text initially to help analyse sentence structure.
