Recap and recall

Before starting this unit, you might want to check the children can recall: Counting to ten in Spanish (uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez). The vowel sounds a, o, i and u – these can be revised using the Pupil phoneme videos, as needed.

Could have individual sets of coloured items, with the colour word written on a sticker; could use sound buttons to record their vocabulary and listen back.

Pupils working at greater depth
