Colour race Display the Presentation: Colour splats. Challenge the children to name or write down as many of the colours as they can remember in one minute.

Pupils needing extra support

Should record answers on the Activity: Tile hunt: support version and use a copy of the Knowledge Organiser for vocabulary support as needed.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should attempt to write descriptions of all the remaining shapes on the tiles, including animal names if known. Children describing the animals on the tiles using the structure un + [animal in Spanish] + [colour], e.g. un cocodrilo amarillo, may indicate greater depth.
