Pupils needing extra support
Should use their completed copies of the Activity: Fiesta vocabulary match from the previous lesson during the Recap and recall; should use Activity: Looking up verbs: support version during the Main event;
Pupils working at greater depth
Should list synonyms for each verb in Spanish, translating their exact meaning in English; should independently identify the three different types of infinitive verbs in Spanish and use the Spanish-to-English part of the dictionary to identify more verbs ending in ‘er’ or ‘ir’ prior to slide 2 of the Presentation: Spanish verbs being displayed to the whole class.
