Pupils needing extra support
Should use their completed Activity: Fiesta vocabulary: support version from Lesson 1 during the Attention grabber; should use the Activity: Fiesta likes and dislikes: support version during the Main event.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should recall the festival vocabulary from Lesson 1 without prompts during the Attention grabber; should complete the listening activity in the Main event on the first or second playing and use the remaining rounds to check their answers; could create an additional set of sentences appropriate for a different festival featured on the slide during the Wrapping up.
