Should use the Activity: Scripting a campaign advert: support version, which incorporates some of the sentence structures; should use the Knowledge organiser to support their writing during the Main event; could use the Activity: Making comparisons: support version from Lesson 2: Habitats past and present for further support during the Main event and omit the use of a Spanish-English bilingual dictionary for sourcing additional language.
Pupils working at greater depth:
Should write a campaign advert for two or more of the South American environments during the Main event; should incorporate additional language sourced from their memory or a bilingual dictionary; should create multi-clause sentences during the Main event; could include an additional clause during the Main event at the beginning of each instruction using the following structure: Para reducir el uso de combustibles fósiles para conducir coches, camina más – To reduce the use of fossil to drive cars, walk more.
