Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing support
Should use the Knowledge organiser for vocabulary and grammar support in all sections of the lesson; should label their portraits with descriptive noun phrases rather than writing a description in full sentences.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should enhance their initial portrait description by including additional features using a Spanish-English bilingual dictionary; could find and use additional colours or adjectives to describe their portrait’s facial features, applying their knowledge of adjectival agreement to generate the correct form.
