Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Should use the Activity: Treasure hunt clues: support version; could use coloured pens to colour-code each landmark to help identify the order of the clues, for example, underline el observatorio in blue in the first clue and then find el observatorio after the word desde – from, and underline this in blue too; could order the clues before beginning the activity.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should read and follow the clues without the use of prompts; could be challenged to write out the English translation for each clue, using a Spanish-English bilingual dictionary where necessary.
