Display the Presentation: Sentence scramble. Invite the children to organise the words into a sentence and see if they can translate it into English (No quiero limpiar porque es muy aburrido – I don’t want to clean because it’s very boring).

Pupils needing extra support

Could use the Resource: Jobs flashcards and Resource: Knowledge Organiser: Spanish – Household tasks for visual support; could focus on and compare the first sentence of each text initially to help analyse sentence structure.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could be challenged to translate the robot descriptions in full; could explore the use of adverbs in different forms and places in the texts.
