Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could highlight parts of the verb cantar on the Activity: Action cartoon and use the same verb forms for the group task; could create their own cartoon using photos of themselves performing each action and adding the appropriate verb form as a caption.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should quickly identify and apply differences between verb endings for ‘ar’ and ‘er’ verbs and compare verb endings with English; could begin to experiment with other verbs with which they are familiar, even if they are not sure which verbs are regular or irregular.
