Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could use the Resource: Verb support cards to help recall vocabulary and for sentence building, for example, by placing sticky notes with alternative verb endings over the ‘ar’ or ‘er’; could use audio from the presentation for additional support with verbs.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should ask and answer a range of questions and create phrases experimenting with different verbs and forms; could create extended sentences including multiple activities they do or don’t do during each season, using connectives y and pero.
