Pupils needing extra support

Should use the food shopping list from Lesson 1: Let’s go to the market instead of the shopping list with prices rounded; should refer to audio from Lesson 5: Going shopping to rehearse phrases for asking and paying for items.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should be encouraged to use additional Spanish vocabulary, e.g. greetings, questions and opinions; should consider adding additional items to their list, including new food vocabulary and increasingly complex quantities.
