The unit quiz for Why and how is Christmas celebrated? includes questions for Years 1–6. It is recommended the children answer the questions as follows:

• Year 1: Questions 1–2.
• Year 2: Questions 1–3.
• Year 3: Questions 1–4.
• Year 4: Questions 1–6.
• Year 5: Questions 1–8.
• Year 6: All questions.

If the unit is being taught as part of a mixed-age cycle, it is recommended to adjust the questions being answered accordingly.

An answer sheet for questions 1–10 is included. Depending on the year group it is being used for, it can be trimmed as required.

The Knowledge catcher is included in the Wrapping up section of every lesson to show progression each year the unit is taught. This is included in the Print in advance section of each lesson.
