Wellbeing: Long-term plan

This Long-term plan for the Wellbeing scheme of work explains the structure of our supplementary scheme which familiarises children with the Five ways to wellbeing by covering the strands: Discover, Take notice, Connect, Give and Move.

Design and technology and Art and design (revised scheme): Long-term plan — mixed-age

This document is a mixed-age version of our very popular long term planning, which allows schools to alternate between the teaching of Design and technology and Art and design half-termly.

Please note that schools must subscribe to both Art and Design and Design and technology subjects to have access to all the units referenced in this plan.

For mixed-age settings, we have organised the units into two-year cycles, ensuring that progression is still appropriate, no matter the order that children experience Cycle A and Cycle B.

To accompany this document, we have produced a DT and Art: Progression of skills and knowledge- Mixed-age.

Science: Long-term plan — mixed-age

This document may be useful to you if your school has mixed-age classes. It organises our Science scheme of work into a two-year rolling cycle which ensures full coverage of the National curriculum objectives.

 

The units will be adapted for mixed-age classes to ensure progression. The Cycle A Autumn units will be available to teach from September 2024.

Spanish: Long-term plan — condensed

A condensed version of our primary Spanish scheme of work, this long-term plan suggests which units to teach if you have limited curriculum time. It provides coverage of the National Curriculum’s minimum requirements, as well as key skills and knowledge, in just 18 lessons for lower key stage 2 and upper key stage 2.

Science: Long-term plan

This document includes a summary of the key areas of our Science curriculum, an explanation of our working scientifically enquiry cycle, a breakdown of the different types of knowledge in science and a suggested order in which to teach science across the school year.

 

Religion and worldviews: Long-term plan

This document provides an overview of the order for teaching our Religion and worldviews units across the school, as well as information explaining the organisation of the curriculum and a summary of each unit of work.
