This Religion and Worldviews resource is designed to support the pupils as they explore how religious figures and leaders are believed to have a special connection to God. It introduces key vocabulary such as faith, prophet, disciple, miracle, and worship, helping the pupils understand how different traditions recognise and honour spiritual figures. It is important to make Design and technology relevant to pupils by giving them an insight into how existing products have been developed. This document shows significant designers and inventors studied in our design and technology scheme and those that could be studied further if time allows.
As the scheme is expanded from four to six lessons per unit, further opportunities to study designers from a variety of backgrounds will be added to the lessons.
