Pupil video: Improving and finishing structures

In this video, the pupils are guided through steps to evaluate and improve the strength or stability of their structure prototypes, and they see examples of how to apply a quality finish to make them look realistic.

Pupil video: Using saws safely

In this video, the pupils are introduced to saws as tools for cutting wood. They are then guided through steps to ensure safe use of saws, including preparatory steps and cleaning up afterwards.

Pupil video: Constructing a prototype of a structure

In this video, the pupils are shown how to use wooden struts to construct a frame of a structure, how to reinforce it with triangulation and how to add elements such as walls or play equipment.

Pupil video: Designing with Tinkercad

In this video, the pupils are guided through the process of logging onto Tinkercad, basics of creating and manipulating objects and how to create some simple structures to give them inspiration for their own ideas.
