Testimonials

Kapow’s Religion & Worldviews is much more innovative and creative than previous schemes we’ve used. It enhances the thinking of our pupils and reflects and prepares them for life in modern Britain. I am impressed with the teaching and learning tools that support teachers’ workload, especially the focus on vocabulary and the structured progression from teacher-led instruction to children independently applying their learning through activities.

Victoria Unsworth, Headteacher, Mesne Lea Primary School

The Kapow Religion and Worldviews scheme delivers high-quality materials, engaging lessons, and obvious improvements in pupil outcomes. Pupil voice tells us that they love the way that all religions are valued and appreciated, the older children in particular loved the way it gave them chance to talk about the world, sharing their views and being valued as an individual.
One Year 6 pupil said, “I really feel that I have enough knowledge to make my own choice on religion when I grow because I have the information.”
It is excellent value for money, especially in terms of the time it saves teachers and the quality of learning it provides students. It has empowered teachers to teach R&W with confidence and enjoyment.

Michelle Hughes, Ripple Primary School

Kapow Primary’s Science scheme is an innovative and engaging resource that brings the subject to life for both teachers and pupils. With hands-on experiments, clear lesson plans, and interactive content, it nurtures curiosity and deepens understanding in an engaging way. The progressive curriculum supports teachers by saving planning time while ensuring high-quality, comprehensive coverage of key topics. Schools looking for a high-impact solution will find this scheme to be excellent. It’s a fantastic way to inspire the next generation of scientists!

Joanne Dodd, Year 6 teacher and SLE in Science

For teaching staff, the scheme provides clear guidance with demonstration videos as well as Continued Professional Learning Development (CPLD), supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. In my role as Science Lead, the Subject Leader resources also support the development of good science leadership, including subject policy prompts and a deep dive toolkit. With its wealth of resources and impact on learning, Kapow Primary offers excellent value for schools.

Joshua Piggott Science and STEM Lead

The Kapow Science scheme of work is developed by experts in science education. The content is both innovative and engaging, with practical sessions that captivate students’ interest. Kapow connects learning to real-life examples and science-related careers, which not only motivates students but also helps to build their science capital. The resources provide comprehensive support for teachers, enhancing subject knowledge and addressing common misconceptions. As the scheme is delivered online, it is regularly updated, offering excellent value for money.

Emily Montenero, Senior Lecturer in Primary Science, St Mary’s University Associate Consultant, Primary STEM Education Consultancy

This is our second year of using the Religion and Worldviews scheme from Kapow and it has made a big impact in our school. We love the teacher and pupil videos which are really clear and explain the concept/activity in just the right amount of detail. Teachers are now much more confident teaching the units, knowing that there is help with vocabulary and key concepts, and the children are making links and connecting with previous units. I would thoroughly recommend this scheme to other schools.

Rachel Worthington, Assistant Principal, Ingoldmells Academy

The children are connecting their views and, as a result of the scheme, developing a deeper understanding of religion and worldwide concepts. They are confidently able to respond to challenging questions, whereas previously, they answered them specifically about one religion. Children now know the vocabulary and can use this confidently within the lessons. They can see how it progresses to the next lesson and builds on the previous year. As a result, the children know and remember more about world religions.

Anmarie Cartwright, Deputy Headteacher, Mesne Lea Primary School

Kapow is organised, has interesting topics, tells you exactly what the teacher needs to know with videos, links to the NC are spot on and the planning and activities are fantastic.
