A continuous provision resource designed to help EYFS teachers introduce children to the importance of looking after the natural world through hands-on exploration in the lesson Georgraphy, Sustainability, Reception, How can we welcome animals on the school grounds?

Through small world play, gardening, role play and creative activities, children will explore different animal habitats and discover how to support biodiversity. They will build their own animal homes and develop an appreciation for the natural world.
