A continuous provision resource designed to help EYFS teachers explore the significance of special places through hands-on activities in the unit Religion & Worldviews, Reception, Why are some places special?

This resource encourages the children to learn about religious and non-religious special places through storytelling, role play and creative construction. Activities include building models, discussing community landmarks and exploring personal connections to places, helping the children develop an understanding of why certain locations are meaningful to different people. A great way to integrate learning about special places into everyday play.
