This French: Progression of skills, knowledge and vocabulary gives an overview of pupils' progression across the knowledge and skills strands in our scheme and also the Cultural awareness strand. This covers KS2 French lessons in Years 3 and 4 and also in Years 5 and 6.

Knowledge strands: Phonics, Vocabulary and Grammar.

Skills strands: Language comprehension (listening and reading) and Language production (speaking and writing).
