How will this document support my school in teaching online safety?
Online safety has never been a more crucial element of the primary school curriculum. With children exposed to online devices from their earliest days, we at Kapow Primary believe they should have the tools and knowledge to use them safely.
Kapow Primary provides complete coverage of the Computing curriculum for KS1 and KS2. Additionally, each year group has an online safety unit that focuses on addressing the challenges and risks faced by primary school pupils in an increasingly digital world.
The Teaching online safety in schools guidance helps schools educate pupils about online safety without imposing extra teaching requirements. It provides guidance on incorporating the subject within the existing school curriculum to help pupils stay safe and behave appropriately while using the internet.
