Elaine worked for many years as a therapist with young people. She is the founder and chair of XenZone and its children and young people’s counselling service, kooth.com. Kooth delivers an online counselling and therapy service. It is also an online community where young people can get support and information in a safeguarded environment. She is also the Innovations Director for Minds For Life, where she has been part of a team developing content for their mental health apps.

Elaine has produced many Wellbeing lesson plans and video demos for Kapow Primary including how to teach pupils about good mental health habits and how to embrace failure.
