Lesson 5: El Anatsui (Original scheme)

Drawing once more on the idea of recycled materials, pupils look at the beautiful work of El Anatsui, using the same themes to create their own sculpture.

Learning objectives

  • To create a sculpture in the style of El Anatsui

  • Develop their techniques, including their control and their use of materials, with creativity, experimentation and an increasing awareness of different kinds of art, craft and design
