Pupils needing extra support: May need help thinking of ideas for this. They may struggle to do non-literal things, so they should be encouraged to look back at the Spomenik designs to create simple, bold shapes that symbolise what they mean rather than looking exactly like them.

 

Pupils working at greater depth: Should be encouraged to produce high quality designs that incorporate symbolism and bold, exciting shapes and patterns.
