  • To create graffiti art

  • Pupils should be taught to develop their techniques, including their control and their use of materials, with creativity, experimentation and an increasing awareness of different kinds of art, craft and design

Differentiation

Pupils needing extra support: May need some help to check that their letters are adequately spaced before they begin creating block letters and extending with serifs.

 

Pupils working at greater depth: Should try more than one graffiti style of lettering and can add 3D shadow effects by adding a block shadow on the right and lowest edge of each letter.
