Pupils needing extra support

Can stick materials onto a photocopy of their map stuck to cardboard to transform to 3D; could use some pre-cut paper strips and shapes alongside their own.

Pupils working at greater depth 

Should be encouraged to use more layering and overlapping to create a more complex composition; can tear and rip paper shapes in combination with cut pieces; could draw details on their map once everything is stuck down using pencils, drawing pens or scratching marks into the surface of wet paint or glue.
