Could re-create an area of their map with larger and simpler shapes and include less detail; could provide pre-cut cellophane shapes and ensure they are trying out ideas before sticking shapes down.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could challenge them to try out more than one composition idea by re-arranging their shapes before attaching them; could encourage them to experiment with more complex cellophane shapes, trying out overlapping shapes or using smaller detailed pieces.
