Recap and recall

Arrange the children into pairs. Display the Presentation: Quizmaster. Ask the children to think of a question about William Morris and/or their one picture, four views that they worked on last lesson and to write this down on a whiteboard. They need to also write down the answer. Then ask the children to quiz their partner.

Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Can be provided with small pieces of paper or pre-cut shapes to make cutting or tearing easier; could have examples of completed designs to support their understanding of the final outcome.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should be encouraged to add more detail to their design; should consider texture and mark making to add interest; should be continually referring back to their initial drawings and mood boards to influence their design choices.
