Pupils needing extra support: Some students will find drawing basic shapes difficult – they may press too hard with their pencil and find correcting mistakes difficult. Constant encouragement will help pupils understand that drawing is a skill that can take a long time to master.
Pupils working at greater depth: Will find drawing naturally easy and so should be challenged to draw more sophisticated images to a high standard.
