Pupils needing extra support: Both tearing and cutting may be difficult for some pupils. Support them with one to one help if needed. Encourage them to create a simpler image (sky, hill, sun, tree, front of a house) or have some simple images they can copy.
Pupils working at greater depth: Encourage more detailed working of the selected rubbings into the composition.
