Exploring Microsoft MakeCode, planning and creating a program.

Please note

This unit is a programming unit based around Microsoft Makecode as an alternative to Scratch Jr for schools who do not have access to tablet devices. The Scratch Jr unit can be found here.

Lesson 3: What does the code mean?

  • To interpret a MakeCode algorithm using paper chains.

Lesson 4: Building a program

  • To plan and build a program in MakeCode.

Lesson 5: Evaluating a program

  • To evaluate if a program is successful based on the MakeCode outcome.
