Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support:

Could use the Knowledge organiser to help them answer the Recap and recall questions; could copy the example design from the Presentation: How to draw a design; could use larger paint brushes to make painting quicker.

Pupils working at greater depth: 

Should use the Activity: Design template: extension to draw both the base and their monster character; should label the parts of the mechanism (wheel, axle and axle holder); could use the Presentation: The user to consider the difference between wants (such as colour, shape or character) and needs (such as safety and pull-along movement) and divide the questions into the two categories.
